2. Moisturizer

1) Moisturizer
2) Auxiliary moisturizer

If you look at the cosmetics ingredients, many things are good for moisturizing. But is it a moisturizer that is good for moisturizing? I think it’s moisturized to have enough moisture.

2-1. moisturizer

There is a classic that is glycerin. A typical example is hyaluronic acid. And there are Moastin (extract) and Moist 24 with excellent moisturizing power. In addition, the prototype ingredient is betaine, so I often see a moisturizing system called Trehalose. There is also a good moisturizing system for herbal extracts called natural herbal moisturizers.

In addition, it can be said that there are ceramide and lipidure as a moisturizer. In this note, I will classify them as additives. It’s a kind of coating that prevents moisture from evaporating, rather than moisture retention.

2-2. Auxiliary moisturizer

When making cosmetics, adding to the moisturizer in the format of additives, is a material that can enhance moisturizing power.

2-2-1.  Lipidure  and Ceramide

Ceramide is a lipid that exists between the cells and prevents water evaporation. It’s a kind of shield. It’s like a coating. It is made by extracting ceramide similar to human beings. 5%, 10%, each product has a content, and the high content will be better. The appropriate amount varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, so it will be put in the shopping mall. There are two kinds of water-soluble and fat-soluble, so pick it up for cosmetic formulations.

Lipiduer is an artificial synthesis of human cell membranes. That’s why it’s much better than cognitive ceramide. Ceramide is known to be a strong lasting power, while the coating ability decreases over time. The effect is about 0.2% and is acceptable.

Both of them are highly recommended for atopic skin, which is poorly synthesized in the body. It is also good for other dry and aging skin.

2-2-2. Panthenol

Pantenol is a vitamin B5 that makes cell lipid metabolism smooth. When lipid metabolism is smooth, ceramide is produced by our body to prevent skin drying. Panthenol is also a unique material that helps dry or oily skin to normalize, and actively recover when the skin is damaged. There are powder and liquids and buy with liquids. The powder is tricky to melt. Dry, oily, acne, atopy. It is recommended for aging skin. If you are not blessed with neutral skin, please use it.

2-2-3. Aloe

Aloe, which has excellent moisturizing power, neutralizes dry and oily skin and has a disinfection sterilization effect, which is good for problems -skin such as dryness, oily skin, acne, and atopy. However, people who have allergies cannot use it. You have to find out and use it in advance.

Aloe is a popular ingredient, so there are many types. Water type (Aloe Water), gel type, Aloe powder, Aloe extract.

Aloe Water can be used like floral water. All skin can be used, including acne, atopy, and aftershave.

Aloe gel, a gel type, is conveniently used to create essence or moisture cream.

Aloe powder can be made by dissolving in water to make aloe water, and you can make aloe gel yourself by gelling the water with carbomer. However, aloe gel, which has been hardened with carbomer, has the disadvantage that the gel will be released when the ingredients outside PH5 and 6.5 are added.

Aloe extract can be used as an additive or just applied. In addition to the ability to maintain moisture, it contains a lot of soothing ingredients, which are good for calming sensitive skin. It’s also a mineral report. It is said that it contains almost all the minerals of the human body.

2-2-4. Collagen

Collagen is a component that makes up the body (skin in the skin), so if you apply it to the skin, it will fill the collagen that is absorbed and aging. However, there is an advantage that makes the skin look good by making the condition of the epidermis (texture). The types are Marine Collagen, Acacia Collagen, Carrot Collagen, Tripeptide Collagen, and Natto Gum these days.

Marine collagen = aging, dry skin 1 ~ 5% (weak in heat.)

Acacia collagen = sensitive skin, child (strong in heat. However, allergies) 1 ~ 5%

Carrot collagen = aging, acne skin 1 ~ 2%

Tripeptide collagen = 1 ~ 5% of the enzymatic collagen decomposed (less powder. 0,1%?) Natto gum = oily, acne skin 3 ~ 5%

For reference, collagen is said to be elastic when it is composed of 5: 1 with Elastin. But I think this is just theory. I tried it and I didn’t know anything good. Hey, he will be, and the elasticity of the skin is the thickness of the dermis and determines the state of the dermis, and the elastin and collagen are both absorbed by the stratum corneum of the epidermis, not to reach the dermis.

Skin:

Our body covers the subcutaneous fat, the epidermis is cheap, and the skin is the dermis and the epidermis. The skin varies from Dermal to Epidermis, the dermis is about 2 mm and the epidermis is about 0.1mm. However, even though it is thin, the epidermis has a good shield system, so water (waterproof) does not enter the body.

The thin epidermis is about 0.1mm, and the base layer, granules, and keratin layers are. It is divided into several layers, and the shield system is present in the granules. So the whitening ingredients and elasticity of our cosmetics are not easy to reach below the granules. The whitening agent must reach the base layer and the thighs in which melanocytes work, and the elasticity is meaningful to reach the dermis, which is organized into collagen and elastin delusions, which is very difficult.

Of course, there is a way to pass the granules. It is based on the material entry method of the cell membrane called ‘diffusion’, and the material can be transmitted by being small enough to pass through the membrane. It is much easier if it is ionized, ATP (cell activation energy), it should be much easier.

The elastic peptide we use in cosmetics is fortunately passing through the cell membrane. Collagen and elastin with large masses are just absorbed by the stratum corneum, which does not affect elasticity and contributes to moisturizing. In other words, apply collagen and elastin to moisturize the stratum corneum. The prototypes that have collagen elastin and the skin are elastic. (For reference, the elasticity of the skin is determined by the thickness and condition of the dermis, and the smoothness of the skin is determined by the condition of the stratum corneum.

2-2-5. Squalen

Squalen is a lipid component and is a cell metabolite. It can protect cells by removing harmful oxygen. There is also sterilization. So it is good for atopy, acne and anti-aging. It does not dissolve the water with fat-soluble. It is good to use for lotion and cream. If you have a small amount, you can add it.

Squalen is a vegetable and animal.

Squalane is saturated with Squalene combined with water, and it is not oxidized compared to Squalen and has a stable feature. If you want to use it as a cosmetics ingredient, it will be better for stable Squalan.

2-2-6. Beta-glucan

It works to activate the cell’s immune function. There is also a function to promote collagen synthesis. So, it is good for wound healing, irritation, and moisturizing
