Coffee Grounds Body Wash Scrub - The product to make in this post is a body wash scrub using coffee grounds. I am more than happy that this product seems to go well with The Nature Atelier's 3 For Sustainability. I will make a mild product using natural surfactants while recycling coffee grounds that are consumed and discarded in everyday life. While coffee grounds remove dead skin cells and wastes, the caffeine component of coffee has an excellent lipolysis effect and is also effective against cellulite.

How to make a Coffee Grounds Body Wash Scrub

The product to make in this post is a body wash scrub using coffee grounds. I am more than happy that this product seems to go well with The Nature Atelier’s 3 For Sustainability. I will make a mild product using natural surfactants while recycling coffee grounds that are consumed and discarded in everyday life. While coffee grounds remove dead skin cells and wastes, the caffeine component of coffee has an excellent lipolysis effect and is also effective against cellulite.

*Tips
1. The amount in the recipe is for my skin type. Try it on and adjust the scrub intensity by adjusting the coffee grounds to suit your skin.
2. The coffee grounds shouldn’t be wet, so dry them well in a shady and ventilated place before using them.
3. I used chamomile tea bags that are gentle on the skin with herbal water. Make brewed water using tea bags of your choice.
4. Put the herbal water in a tea bag and leave it at room temperature for about 10 minutes, then boil it in a water bath at 50 to 70 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Recipe Sequence

1. Prepare herbal water as described in Tips.2. If there are ingredients in the herbs, the product spoils quickly, so even if you use a tea bag, filter it through a fine strainer or coffee filter before using.3. Herb The water is already hot, so if you add xanthan gum, it will work out. Use a spatula to loosen it well. When all the xanthan gum has melted, it will turn into a gel.
4. Weigh surfactant, additive and preservative in turn and stir well with a spatula.5. Lastly, add the essential oil and coffee grounds and stir well once more.6. Place in pre-sterilized containers(Jar type) and label.
