Detail | 1. An amphoteric surfactant obtained by neutralizing fatty acids extracted from coconut oil. It improves foaming and viscosity and is used in various products because of its compatibility with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants. 2. Mild surfactant – Unlike synthetic surfactants, it is considered a safe and effective excellent surfactant because it has mild properties that do not irritate the skin mucous membrane. 3. Various functions – It is used in various products such as shampoo, antistatic agent, hair conditioning agent, skin conditioning agent, detergent, foam forming agent. 4. Coco Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, and Lauramidopropyl Betaine are amphoteric surfactants derived from coconut, but they have a large risk difference and are not the same. 5. Cocamidopropyl betaine is much milder than chemical surfactants, but has a high EWG grade, so we recommend coco betaine (LPB) or coco betaine (L) as similar coconut-derived amphoteric surfactants. |
