| Detail | 1. BTMS-50 is a mixture of behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Cetyl Alcohol (and) Butylene Glycol. It is approximately 45–55% behentrimonium methosulfate, 35–45% cetyl alcohol, and 5–10% butylene glycol. 2. The EWG grade above is the grade of behentrimonium methosulfate, and it is diluted with cetyl alcohol and butylene glycol, so it will actually be milder. 3. It is an emulsifier that keeps hair and skin soft and mild, and has excellent conditioning effect. Unlike other emulsifiers, it has an excellent conditioning effect, so it is mainly used in hair conditioners. 4. It is effective in preventing static electricity, so it is good for soft hair care. 5. Since behentrimonium methosulfate fills the space between damaged hair, it is effective to use it for damaged hair products. 6. Until 2018, the EWG rating was 1st grade, but it has risen to 5th grade. I mainly want to make products with natural and less harmful ingredients. But sometimes I still use it to make hair conditioner.
